Background Information for the Data Set of Chris Baerveldt

This data is taken from the Dutch Social Behavior study, a two-wave survey in classrooms (Baerveldt, 2000). In 1994/1995 the first wave took place in 22 Dutch urban high schools. All pupils in the third grade of the intermediate educational level (‘MAVO’) of these schools were selected, resulting in a sample of 1,528 pupils aged between 13 and 18 years, excluding two pupils who did not seriously complete the questionnaire.
